Do I have to take a t-shirt?
No. As part of our commitment to sustainability, you do not need to receive a new Sparkle Walk t-shirt if you already have one from a previous year. When registering, please select the option to say you do not require a t-shirt and wear your existing Sparkle Walk t-shirt on the day.
If you are new to the event or would like a new t-shirt, you are very welcome to receive one.

What should I wear?
If you are receiving a new t-shirt, you can collect it when you register in the Event Village on Saturday 6 June. We’d love you to embrace the Sparkle theme, think glitter, sequins and shine. There will be sparkly accessories available to buy in the Event Village, so please bring a form of payment.
We recommend comfortable clothing, well-fitting trainers or walking boots, and an extra waterproof layer just in case.

What should I bring?
Please bring only what you can comfortably carry with you during the walk. A small backpack or crossbody bag, a bottle of water, snacks, and money or a card for merchandise and refreshments are recommended.

There will be no bag drop or storage facilities available on the day.

Will there be food and drinks available?
At Woodford Rugby Club, where the walk starts and finishes, the bar will be open to purchase alcoholic and soft drinks.

What happens on the day?

After finishing, participants are welcome to relax and enjoy the atmosphere before heading home.

What if it rains?
Rain or shine, the walk will go ahead. We will only cancel the event if conditions become unsafe. Please dress for the weather.
