Fundraising Ideas for Secondary Schools Themed non-uniform or dress-up days: From 'Decades Day' to 'Favourite Movie Character' or 'Culture Day', get students involved and collect donations to take part. Sponsored Challenge Week: Students can choose a physical or mental challenge: walk 10,000 steps daily, give up social media, run 5k, or cycle to school for a week. Open MIC or Talent Night: Host an evening of music, comedy, and creativity — invite families, sell tickets, and raise funds through refreshments and donations. Bake sale or international food stall: Celebrate different cultures and culinary talents with a themed food day, led by students, supported by families. Debate for a cause: Organise a public speaking or debating competition with an entry fee or sponsored audience votes. Gaming Tournament: A popular and inclusive option — hold a FIFA, Mario Kart, or online chess tournament with entry fees and small prizes.
