We are delighted to share that young performers from a local performing arts school have helped raise nearly £10,000 in just a few days after releasing a brand-new Christmas charity single in support of Haven House.

The festive track, titled ‘This Christmas’, was written by 17-year-old songwriter Tia Pearman and performed by children from Stage One, a community-based performing arts group. Released on Friday, the single has already inspired an extraordinary response from our local community, with thousands donated in just a few days.

Haven House Children's Hospice Community and Events Manager, Sarah Harris, said:

“Christmas is all about giving, and seeing young people bring that spirit to life with such magic and heart has been incredibly moving. Their generosity — and the generosity of everyone downloading and donating — is helping us bring warmth, care and moments of joy to families who need it most. We are so grateful to everyone involved and hope the momentum continues to build in the weeks ahead, supporting our hospice at one of the most challenging times of the year.
